VideoProperty property is based on OpenWaves.Video API and provides an easy interface for getting video information. Currently Youtube and Vimeo are supported.

Getting started

To use the property set the type of the property to Url.

using OpenWaves.EPiServer.VideoProperty;

...

[UIHint(VideoProperty.UIHint)]
public virtual Url Video { get; set; }

Form editing mode

Property editor lets editors type tags with autocomplete based on EPiServer Categories

Cannot resolve image macro, invalid image name or id.

When editor will click on the thumbnail popup window with video player will appear.

When video url is not supported input field will be marked as not valid.

On page editing mode

Video property is rendered as thumbnail in On page editing mode. Editor can edit video url by clicking thumbnail and modyfing url.

Localization

If you need translate VideoProperty simply add xml file to your EPiServer lang directory. Below you can find English localization example.

Installation

Install OpenWaves.EPiServer.VideoProperty nuget package from MakingWaves nuget repository.
